Creative

The primary thing we are doing at any given time is making things. Since we started a social justice blog in 2017, the scope of our creative endeavors have only increased. All of that work will be represented on this website.

Inclusive

All of our creative projects have a theme: They are motivated by a desire to help people. Our work seeks to expand the number of people that are seen as human and increase the quality of life for as many of those humans as possible.

About Us

We are disabled, chronically and mentally ill, freelance creatives from Eugene, Oregon. We specialize in educational writing about civil rights, disability, trauma, and Dissociative Identity Disorder. In 2017, we created the social justice blog, Yopp, a resource-hub dedicated to consolidating the do’s and don’ts of social justice into clear, overarching principles. Yopp has since published hundreds of articles, including work by 20+ marginalized writers. Our writing has also been published in the Ms. Magazine blog, The BeZine, and Splain’ You a Thing, and in fall of 2022, we released a self-published book of poetry, “Pet: the Journey from Abuse to Recovery.”

In addition to our writing, we regularly create new digital art, often following similar themes as our blog. We started out designing stickers and T-shirts for in 2020, later branching out into full illustrations and digital paintings, including the cover of our poetry book. We have since created more than 50 repeat patterns that we sell on fabric on Spoonflower and a wide range of designs intended for marginalized communities sold on a range of products on our Etsy store KellaCoCreations
